Loose-lead walking

For dogs that pull: a walk where the lead stays loose, without force and without a special collar.

A dog that pulls is not dominating you: pulling simply works, it gets it where it wants to go. We change that, step by step, with a well-fitted harness or a flat collar and a long lead.

What we work on

  • The right equipment, chosen together
  • Stopping when the lead tightens, rewarding when it is loose
  • Crossing a dog, a cat, a bike without lunging
  • Letting it sniff: a walk is its time too

Good to know

On your usual route, at the time you usually walk. Count three to four sessions for a clear change.

Tell me about your dog and what you would like to change. I call you back within two working days to set up the assessment.

Pain can change behaviour. When a problem looks medical, I ask you to see your vet first, and we work together afterwards.
